To finish off a small box, sometimes all I need is a simple means to slightly raise the box. I’ve found that small button plugs work perfect for the job.
To install, you only need to drill shallow holes in the bottom of the box for the plugs to slip into. The plugs are then glued in place. And if the box doesn’t sit flat, simply run the plugs over a piece of sandpaper on a flat surface to level things out.
