Several years ago, Chris Fitch started playing around with CNC routers. It lead to a Woodsmith Plan to build your own. Along the way, Chris learned more about the techniques and skills required to use one with confidence.
He started a new online show CNC Basecamp to help others interested in working with these versatile tools.
One of Chris' big ideas is that as complex as a CNC router may seem, you don't need to be an computer expert. He stresses progressive learning. You can learn enough to get started in a project. Then grow from there -- sounds a lot like a lot of other aspects of woodworking.
