Ever since I first started using one, I’ve been a fan of rotary tools. They’re lightweight, easy to handle, and incredibly versatile with all the available head attachments. However, when it comes to smaller parts, it can be a pain to maneuver both the tool and the workpiece, which is why I came up with this support.
This support is just a piece of hardwood with a hex nut in it to hold the rotary tool. It clamps into a vise and allows the tool to be used as a mini spindle sander, grinding wheel, or whatever else the project may call for.
