SUPER SAW BLADES
It’s always fun sliding a new blade on the arbor of your table saw. Day in and day out these the Ultra-Shear line blades from Woodpeckers are a joy to work with. There are four blades to choose from at their website. Lets take a look at the two shown to the left. Starting with their glue line rip blade.
These two blades from Woodpeckers will address most of your board cutting needs.
GLUE LINE RIP.
Glue line rip blades save you the trouble of a trip to the jointer to clean up the rough edges of boards that are cut by a standard rip blade. I don’t need mirror smooth cuts everyday at the table saw. But when I do, the 30-tooth glue line rip blade shown to the left makes for perfect edges ready for glueup. The blade is available in standard and thin kerf.
MULTI-TASKER.
This multi-tasking blade is good for ripping and crosscuts, the 40-tooth alternate bevel blade was great for making the pages of the book box. This blade is available in standard and thin kerf as well.
There are two other blades in the Ultra-Shear Line. One is a 40-tooth flat top blade that creates flawless grooves and dadoes with a perfectly square kerf. The fourth blade is a 48-tooth combination cross cut and rip blade that’s a dream to work with. All of these blades are available at Woodpeck.com.
