PRECISION CABINET DRILLING
Drilling holes in cabinet doors and drawers can be an unnerving task, there’s a lot on the line and no room for errant holes — this jig is ideal for the job. The Cabinet Hardware Jig Pro from Kreg Tools goes a long way towards resolving the jitters of drilling perfectly placed holes in cabinet doors and drawers.
The bars are aluminum with etched scales in the surface. The depth bar is screwed to the cross bar by two hex head bolts (the screws and a hex wrench are provided). The large alignment stop travels up and down on the depth bar to set the distance of the holes from the door (or drawer) edge. While the end stop sets the distance in the other direction.
DRILL GUIDES.
There are two adjustable drill guides that traverse the cross bar. Also, embedded in the base of the depth bar there’s a fixed center drill guide. All three guides have a stainless steel insert to accurately guide drill bits without wearing over time.
