Chamfer Sander
Edge sanders are great for freehand shaping and smoothing. Sometimes you want a little more consistency. That’s why I made this chamfer sander.
An adjustable guide lets you form a consistent chamfer across multiple parts. The adjustable guide moves on Microjig’s dovetail slot hardware. A key in the bottom face keeps the guide aligned with the belt.

A fixed fence is glued up from two layers of plywood in order to create a just tall enough fence. A longer key in the fence helped with installation. The plywood base can be any size. It has a miter bar to register in the table. -Phil Huber, Urbandale, Iowa
