Sewing Box
This Sewing Box is really three boxes, two trays that pivot out of the way to expose a large compartment below. All the parts are joined with box joints. So we've included special instructions about how to make box joints, as well as plans to make a box joint jig that can be used on your table saw or router table.
The Sewing Box can also be used to hold craft and art supplies. The dividers in the trays are optional. And we've included plans for optional wood covers for the trays.
The Sewing Box kit includes complete instructions and all the hardware you'll need, including brass rivets, washers, woodscrews, and wooden knobs for the lids. You supply the wood, plywood for the box bottoms, fabric and batting for the optional padded lids, and finish.
Overall dimensions: 8" wide x 8-1/4" high x 17" long
