Weekend Arbor
With a few simple hand tools and some lumber and supplies from your local home center, you can build this beautiful arbor in one weekend—and then spend the rest of your summer weekends enjoying it!
Our basic arbor woodworking plan provides an attractive, simple archway along a garden path. With a little more lumber, you can also build an optional gate, fence, and even an attached garden bench, plans included.
We used standard, dimensional western red cedar lumber, so there's no ripping involved. Plus, we'll show you and easy method for anchoring the arbor to concrete pads.
Overall dimensions: 86-1/4" high x 64-1/2" wide x 31" deep
