Garden Trellis

Bring copper and cedar together to create a perfect climbing structure for your garden plants and flowers! Unique woodworking project plan shows you how to combine copper plumbing pipe and red cedar into an attractive trellis for your garden. The copper will be shiny when you first build the trellis, but will age to a blue-green color that will add an interesting contrast to the oil-finished wood.

We used No. 2 western red cedar, a durable outdoor wood that's available at most lumberyards and home centers.

Suggested power tools: Circular saw, router, portable drill.

Overall dimensions: 51" W x 84-3/4" H x 5-1/2" D
