Garden Seat
You don't need to have a large formal garden to justify building this seat. It will be right at home on a front porch, beside a flower bed, or in the backyard.
For strength, the Garden Seat is built with traditional mortise and tenon joinery. The seat shown in the photo was built with Douglas fir. It can be painted, stained, or finished with an outdoor oil.
The Garden Seat plans include a six-page step-by-step booklet and two 18" x 24" sheets of shop drawings. You also get a pre-printed shopping list you can take to your local lumberyard or home center. The list includes all the wood, supplies, and tools you'll need to build this garden seat.
