Steamer Trunk6

We built our classic flat-topped trunk from oak plywood and 1/4" bands of solid oak. Then as a finishing touch, we used brass-plated hardware.

    Clarification: The materials list says to use brass screws to attach the hardware but brass-plated will also work. If brass screws are used, the holes should be pre-drilled because brass screws are softer than the plated variety.
