    Clarification: The measurement from upper edge of the stretchers to the kerf is printed as 5/16". Rockler's table top fasteners specify the kerf should be 7/16" from the top. If the kerf has already been cut, the fasteners can be "flattened" a bit to allow them to work without any trouble. (Table top fasteners from other sources may differ.)
